Movie Review: Monsters University

We all wanted to be something when we were kids growing up; fire fighters, clowns, astronauts, but did you ever want to be the scary thing that goes bump in the night? In June 2013, Mike did, he even went to college to learn how to do it.

Directing this 104 minute animation/adventure/comedy/family/fantasy is Dan Scanlon.

Some of the talented voice actors are: Billy Crystal as Mike Wazowski, John Goodman as James P. Sullivan/Sulley, Steve Buscemi as Randy, Helen Mirren as Dean Hardscrabble, Joel Murray as Don, Sean Hayes as Terri, Dave Foley as Terry, Tyler Lebine as Greek Council VP.,
Nathan Fillion as Johnny Worthington and John Ratzenberger as Yeti.

Before Mike and Sulley were best friends, there was college. This time, we get to see these monsters before they were big and scary, and what it takes to learn to be a scarer.

This one turned out really good. Special effects were just as good this time around. Really good script, and just as funny without over-playing the jokes. Definitely one the family will enjoy seeing.

It's rated G.

5 stars for a roaring good time.
